FOSTA Pte Ltd is a hi-tech fiber optic sensing instrumentation and monitoring company for building and construction industries. FOSTA's strength is her patented sensor technology and project implementation experience for buildings and bridges. It has received investment funding from the Singapore Government through the Economic Development Board (EDB).

1. Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) using Fiber Optic Sensors (FOS)
   
   Design, fabricate, supply, install, operate and report SHM systems using Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) technology.
   
   Her earliest FOS SHM project was conducted on a concrete bridge in 1998. After 8 years, the sensors are now still in working conditions; no other companies have such long track record.
   
   
2. Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) and Distributed Temperature & Strain Sensing (DTSS)
   
   Raman and Brillouin linear fiber optic sensing technology for fire detection of tunnels, power lines and dams, etc.
